What is a Water Bore?
A water bore is your own personal water supply pumped directly from groundwater to your property. Construction of a water bore should be undertaken by Licensed Drillers to ensure conforming standards of construction.

Why get a Water Bore?
Initially, the cost of the water bore can seem overwhelming. Weighing up the pros and cons, you will find that the initial outlay is recouped within the first couple of years. Statistically it has been shown that 40% of household water is used on Gardens.

The Benefits of a Water Bore
A water bore can be connected directly to your reticulation     system saving you money on excess water bills.

A tap outlet allows for topping up you swimming pool, fish     ponds, washing the car, house or even the family pets

Now with the use of Submersible Pumps, water bores no     longer have unsightly covers and remain unobtrusive.

Water bores in some areas stain. We can help you     manage this problem.

Groundwater - A natural Resource

Groundwater has played a vital role in the development of many areas of Australia. The extensive use made of groundwater resources stems from a number of factors. The resource extends over large areas, making distribution cost more economic than surface supplies. It is generally well filtered, is mostly accessible at reasonably shallow depths and the scale of development required can be tailored closely to meet individual water demands.

Bore Construction - Australian Standards
Access to the resource is usually by bores. However, bores must be constructed to an acceptable standard using appropriate materials in order for this access to be achieved efficiently. For many individual landholders the cost of constructing a water supply from bores represents a large proportion of their total property investment. Therefore it is important both to the nation as a whole and individual groundwater users that the very large investment in bore construction be protected by proper construction methods.
